Because of tumblr, there is now so much design theft it’s not even funny. Whereas before, mostly only big designers were having things ripped off, now small independent businesses are having their hand made designs ripped off as well.

that’s true and really sad, you’re right ; ; I don’t know if it’s all started because of tumblr and of how images get viral also because of tags and such.. surely it gets this bad phenomenon to increase, damn!
I got my designs stolen too from taobao sellers and shops, also Sweetiecakes designs and lots of other indie brands are being ripped off and the saddest part is that we can’t do anything *serious* about it ;;
So so frustrating..You need to learn how to patent better. If your shit is getting ripped off, you’re doing something wrong. Good designers, who are REALLY worried about their stuff, don’t get ripped off. Otherwise everyone on Deviantart would’ve been screwed long ago.
actually talking about taobao you can easily find bigger brands that’s been ripped off as well, so I don’t really see your point of *Doing something wrong*.
